If you thought the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was good, this one might just blow you away. Not only does it reveal the official release date for the game, but there are also a lot of amazing revelations about the villains in the game. All I can say about this Mutants in Manhattan trailer is that it serves as an excellent example of how to get TMNT fans excited. We finally got to see the turtles fighting enemies such as Bebop, Rocksteady, Armaggon, Karai, Super Shredder and other notable villains from the franchise. Needless to say, the game looks pretty darn awesome!
As if that weren’t enough, this Mutants in Manhattan trailer also makes it perfectly clear that there was a lot of effort put into the narrative aspect of this title. There’s no other way to say it: This feels like a proper Ninja Turtles story. We saw Splinter giving sage-like advice to his sons; we saw Michelangelo saying Cowabunga; we saw Bebop clumsily hit his head while making a not-so-triumphant exit. I’m not sure how you could possibly nail the look and feel of TMNT any better than what we’ve just seen in this trailer. If you’re not already sold, I don’t know what else could possibly convince you to check out Mutants in Manhattan.
Speaking of which, it turns out that we’ll be getting our hands on this new title from Platinum Games a lot sooner than we previously expected. As usual, the release dates that we reported just a month ago were actually just place holders. In reality, this trailer reveals that the actual release date for the game is May 24th, 2016. That’s right, in just a few short months you’ll be able to play this awesome TMNT game for yourself. The timing for this release couldn’t possibly be more perfect, as it comes literally a week and a half before the release of the new movie Out of the Shadows. Let’s just say that chances are this was the plan from the get go, and the summer is starting to look pretty green!
Just a friendly reminder, if you are an Amazon Prime member and you pre-order this game before it comes out, you can actually get 20% off immediately. Instead of paying $50 for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan, you could be paying $40. This is one way to save money and get your hands on the latest TMNT game before anyone else. What do you think? Will you be pre-ordering this title, or will you wait for some reviews to come out first? Are you psyched about the release of Mutants in Manhattan?
