TV Series
While TMNT began as a comic, the 1987 TMNT TV series that would re-brand these dark comic vigilantes into a group of friendly and lighthearted heroes, and bring them into the mainstream. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise would include several new TV series, including the current one which debuted in 2012 (currently in its second season).
The TMNT 2012 TV series features a group of turtles that are a bit more serious than their 1987 counterparts, but still far more friendly than their 1984 rendition. Just like their predecessors, they continue to fight crime in New York City, and provide entertainment for TMNT fans of all ages!
