As expected, Sideshow has finally unveiled the design for the last statue in their latest collection of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles memorabilia. This line of statues is based upon artwork that the company had previously commissioned, and it’s absolutely beautiful. Earlier this year, they revealed plans for their Leonardo and Michelangelo statues, waiting until just recently to unveil their plans for Donatello. Each turtle has had a very unique design befitting their character, and that doesn’t appear to have changed for Raphael.
Unsurprisingly, Raph is providing his best scowl as he jumps into the foreground prepared for action. His knee pads and elbow pads each appear to be made of leather, which is definitely the kind of touch we’d expect from a heavy fighter like Raphael. Much like his brothers, he’s standing on a pipe in the sewer and getting ready for battle. This entire lineup of TMNT statues looks magnificent, with all four combining to complete a diorama that will look great on any collector’s shelf.

According to Sideshow Toys, this Raphael figure will be available for pre-order on October 20th. As with the other statues in this line of TMNT collectibles, you can expect to pay another $349.99 for Raph. All four turtles will run you about $1,400, which is definitely going to be cost prohibitive for a lot of fans. That being said, those of you with a lot of expendable income will probably be picking these up as soon as possible. Although I’m sure we all wish that we could afford these statues, at the very least we can admire them from afar for free!

With this Raphael figure, the series will be complete. Even so, something tells me this won’t be the last time that Sideshow Toys brings us some awesome and original TMNT merchandise.
