If there was one thing that most fans can agree about when it comes to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, it’s Bebop and Rocksteady. Paramount and Platinum Dunes did an excellent job of recreating these characters for the big screen, carefully crafting the design of each mutant so that they both looked very similar to their original cartoon counterparts.
If you enjoyed this interpretation of our favorite mutant henchmen, there is no doubt that you’ll be tempted by these Bebop and Rocksteady statues from Vault Productions. As you can tell, these aren’t the bumbling buffoons we grew up with. Vault Productions has clearly been working on these designs for quite some time, and they are pretty darn authentic.
Whether you liked Out of the Shadows or not, you’ve got to admit that these Bebop and Rocksteady statues represent perhaps the best looking and most highly detailed design for each character that we have ever seen available on the collectible market. It’s obvious that a lot of effort was put into the creation of these TMNT statues, and something tells me that fans are really going to love the end result.
Set for release in December 2016, chances are that these Bebop and Rocksteady statues will be coming out around the same time as Out of the Shadows will be released on home video. You can pre-order your own set right away, or set up a payment plan to pay for each statue in installments.
Thankfully, the price on these statues is a little more merciful than what you will find with other TMNT collectibles, as each henchman will run you a total of $369.99. That’s still a lot of money to spend on Ninja Turtles merchandise, but considering the high quality of these collectibles, it’s definitely worth the price.
