Believe it or not, I had just begun producing content for this site when Nickelodeon first announced that they would be making an animated series based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I wasn’t sure whether or not this new cartoon would be popular with audiences both young and old, but I was hopeful that it would turn out alright. As it turns out, my dreams pretty much came true, because both fans of the original animated series and their children have taken quite the liking to this latest iteration of our heroes in a half shell.
How popular has the series been? Well, they’ve already begun working on a 5th season and there are no signs that they will stop anytime soon. Another excellent sign of the cartoon’s success will be occurring this Sunday, as they will air the 100th episode. This is a pretty big achievement for any television series, and it will mark the third time that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have been in an animated series that ran for at least 100 episodes.
There is no April, only Za-Naron.

Given that the property is now over 30 years old, that’s definitely an impressive number which says something about the staying power of the franchise. Whether you like Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or not, you’ve got to admit that it’s nice to see them remaining in the public eye over the course of several generations. I’m sure that a lot of fans will be happy to hear that this series has been so successful, but I’m also hopeful that this number convinces those who have avoided Nick’s TMNT to give the cartoon a chance.
The 100th episode of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles will focus on the psychic powers of April O’Neil. For those who have been paying attention to the series, this won’t come as a surprise. That being said, it’s nice to see that they’ve actually given April such a strong presence in this iteration of the story. Some may think that it’s a little silly, but they’ve actually managed to make this concept fit properly within the overall plot of the animated series.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
If you’ve been looking forward to seeing April take a more hands on approach with her fellow turtles, it looks like her abilities are about to become a much more important factor to the story. So far, we’ve found two clips from the 100th episode, but if you want to see the whole thing, you’ll have to tune in on Sunday. Personally, I’m excited to see how April’s new found strength alters her approach to fighting in the next few episodes leading up to the season finale. Whatever happens, it looks like the end of season four is shaping up to be quite excellent!

man, it’s good that even tho the movies aren’t doing so well, we still have the show. Each episode is always awesome, and the hype just keeps on building!
They’ve really done a good job with the storytelling in the last few episodes and it goes to show that these are amazing characters, even if the original concept was born of silliness. I am loving every minute and I can’t wait for this next episode and the conclusion to Shredder’s story.
So excited for the review
Omg, this episode was sad. I’m still sad, even though Donnie returned.
again i’m kind of glad that side story is over now as april basiclly became like the aon’s possed by the dark force zar anon and was finally able to push it out
