Yes, they are doing a TMNT themed art show on the day that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be released. This will be a one time event, and attendance will be free. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 100 Project will feature 100 pieces of art designed by several different artists for the cover of IDW’s 50th issue of the comic. These 100 covers were commissioned by the Hero Initiative, but the art show will also include 15 donations from co-creator Kevin Eastman himself. He’ll even be there to sketch two more cover variants live as the show is in progress!

With so many different opportunities to experience this project, art lovers and TMNT fanatics from all over the world will soon be enjoying plenty of new Ninja Turtles artwork very soon. If you are able to attend, head on down to the San Diego Comic Art Gallery on June 3rd at 6 PM for free admission to the event. Although it is free, donations are appreciated. The Hero Initiative is designed to help comic book creators in need, so any amount you donate will definitely be going to a good cause.
