Okay, we may be a little late to the party on this one, but we’re willing to wager that this will be the case for a lot of fans. What once was a rumor may have been confirmed months ago, as producer Andrew Form gave Yahoo! News a pretty juicy interview while Out of the Shadows was filming this summer. During the interview, Form stated that they were pulling inspiration for the film from a lot of sources, and while discussing these sources he dropped a few bombs that haven’t really surfaced until a week or two ago. Will Krang be in this movie? It’s looking a lot more likely.
“We’ve embraced a bit of everything. [Co-creator] Kevin Eastman is doing new comics for IDW, so we’re peeling pieces from that; definitely stuff from the original Mirage comics; the cartoon, too, with some Krang and Bebop and Rocksteady and the Technodrome coming from that. It’s been fun to wrap our arms around the entire canon. And Eastman and Laird have been cool with saying, ‘Make this your own, make it a new chapter.’”
Did he unequivocally state that Krang and the Technodrome will be in this movie? Fans may have speculated that this was the case after seeing the first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, but all we really knew was that we saw some alien space craft crashing down on New York City. This quote seems to suggest that there may be more to that assumption than meets the eye, as Form mentioned both the Technodrome and Krang right alongside Bebop and Rocksteady, who are both clearly in the film.
If you needed any more evidence that Krang is going to be in this movie, Form’s comments here might suffice. Of course, until we see the alien menace from Dimension X for ourselves, we can’t say for certain that this is the case. Reshoots, editing and other issues can still change the final result that we will see in theaters on June 3rd, 2016. Until then, let’s just hope that Andrew Form wasn’t just blowing smoke. I know that I’m not the only shellhead who would love to see some Krang action on the big screen once and for all!

It’s obvious that Krang will be in the movie, given that portal we saw on the trailer, and the parts coming out of it, being pieces of the Technodrome.
Yes. True
heres more proof if it wasn’t already obvious
YES! SHREDDER WEARS HIS HELMET!!!! BOOYAKASHA!!!!
I wonder why Donnie doesn’t have a second costume and the rest do and splinter looks the same as last time. Maybe that’s a good thing!
I wonder if they actually wear those crazy costumes in the movie?
I am disappointed to see bebop and rocksteady don’t have their turtle shell armor
