Laura Linney Talks Turtles Movie

During the interview, she had the following to say:

“I’ve never been offered anything like that, so I was thrilled! You know, I have a young son, and the fact that he’ll be able to watch something [I’ve done] before he’s the age of 25 and not be traumatized by it is a good thing.”

Linney was of course referring sarcastically to her work in other films, which tend to be a lot more adult oriented. Regardless, it’s clear that she’s more than a little excited to have a starring role in the latest TMNT movie!

TMNT 2 Producers Praise Buffalo

With production well underway on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II, the producers of the film took some time out of their busy schedule to give due props to the city of Buffalo, New York. Producers Brad Fuller and Denis Stewart seemed pretty pleased with their experiences, and they were very thankful that the city helped them to get some pretty difficult shots. Whenever you have to close off traffic in a city, it can be a little bit hectic, but the city of Buffalo was very accommodating and that may result in excellent footage for TMNT 2.

Of all the turtle bits we talked about today, what are you most excited about? Do you want to win that walk-on role, or are you just in the market for some cool TMNT keychains? My name is Justin Wren and I love to write about the TMNT! I've been a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan since the late 80's. Back then, I would watch the original animated series and play with the Playmates toys all the time. I have been following the boys ever since I was a kid, and I'm very happy to see them back in the limelight after all these years. Needless to say, I'm proud to be a member of the team on this awesome TMNT Fan Site!
