There have been a lot of interesting videos about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles coming out as of late. This week, we discovered three more that you just have to see.
First off, we have a new TV Spot to share with you guys. It’s been a little while since we’ve seen any new trailers, and this one doesn’t appear to have been shared on social media sites in any traditional sense. In other words, this is literally someone recording their television. If and when the studios decide to post it online, we’ll let you know. For now, there are some interesting things to note about this trailer that immediately stand out from the rest. First of all, you finally get to see more of the Shredder in action. It would appear that he and Splinter have a battle at some point in the movie, and this trailer reveals them both getting ready for action. Needless to say, Shredder looks pretty intimidating here and this is definitely the kind of thing that fans are looking forward to in the new film from Paramount Pictures.
Next up, although some fans are loving all of the new trailers and tv spots for the movie, others are finding them a little dull. In response to this, the Youtube channel Animation Domination High-Def crafted their own spoof trailer of a reboot movie brought to you by Michael Bay. This time, instead of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Bay has elected to bring us a reboot of Beavis and Butthead. This faux trailer parodies many of the tropes we’ve already seen several times in the trailers for the new TMNT movie, so it’s clear that they are directly referencing and poking fun at them. This is a pretty funny parody trailer, so even if you’re a fan of the new Ninja Turtles movie trailers, it is definitely worth checking this one out for a laugh. Don’t worry, there’s nothing too lewd or crude in this trailer, it’s just a straightforward spoof.
Finally, to end things off, how about we just relax and rewind to the sounds of a smooth slow jam. No, really. For the past few months, Youtube user ScottBradleeLovesYa has been producing a series of videos he calls “Saturday Morning Slow Jams.” In this series, he gets together a bunch of musicians and has them sing the theme songs of our favorite cartoons from yesteryear. Recently, he performed none other than Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, and it came out great. Okay, so maybe it’s a little off-putting to hear your favorite Ninja Turtles theme song turned into an R&B masterpiece, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. If you enjoy his version of the song, you can actually get it on iTunes.
