Electric Trailer For Casey Jones: Live Wire Debuts!

GOONGALA! Casey Jones fans rejoice! The trailer for a radical looking new TMNT fan film has emerged from the sewers!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Casey Jones

The team at Chromatic Phantom is excited to release the official trailer for Casey Jones: Live Wire, a blast from the past short fan film exploring an all new adventure within the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles universe!

When street vigilante Casey Jones confiscates a futuristic gun from a criminal, he begins to question his brand of justice, but after footage of the fight spreads, girlfriend April O’Neil warns that he may be drawing the unwanted attention of a dark and powerful organization!

Actor and musician Adam Michaels (Casey Jones), together with actress Kali Libby (April O’Neil) are the leading actors of the film. Michaels, having starred in productions of Rock of Ages & Dee Snider’s: Rock & Rock Christmas Tale, carries the energy and charm you’d expect from the boisterous character.

The film also features the hilarious Greg Foster in addition to lead stunt/actor Kai Young ( Chicago P.D.), Cody Evans and Phiip Soulides (Marvel Universe Live), Jacob Bates, Jon Beal, Professional Bodybuilder Derrick Simmons Jr, and musician WAVE MMLZ.

After Chromatic Phantoms successful Kickstarter campaign in fall of 2020 the production started principle photography in February 2021. The film promises to carry the spirit of the 80’s and 90’s TMNT and update it for audiences.

“We wanted to revisit the energy and aesthetic of what we all loved about Ninja Turtles to begin with. A big part of it was having roots in 80’s culture. The 1990 film really created the Bible for us as far as what works for a TMNT film. It had to be light hearted but still have tons of butt kicking”, says co-director & producer Chaz Dray.Kai & Stranger Things collided with the world of TMNT. The short is really functioning as a pilot “Together we approached it as what if Cobra Kai & Stranger Things collided with the world of TMNT. The short is really functioning as a pilot episode of sorts.”

Casey Jones: Live Wire is set to premiere Fall of 2021 on Chromatic Phantoms Youtube channel along with a radical music video shot for the film with characters playing along, reminiscent of the old “Coming Out of Their Shells” Tour from the early 90’s.

In addition to the trailer, Chromatic Phantom has also launched an Indiegogo campaign that runs until June 20th, to allow Ninja Turtle fans one last chance to get their name in the credits of the film and pre-order a Casey Jones: Live Wire Blu-Ray, plus a whole collection of other fun merchandise. Funds will also assist with post production of the film. 

So throw a “like”, “follow”, or even a couple shillings to show some radical support for this excellent looking fan film, dudes and dudettes!

My name is Zackarey Garza. I am 34 years old married with two great kids Zakayla Bree she is 9 yrs and Eli Zayden he is 5 yrs old.We live in (Tri-Cities,Wa) Kennewick Washington state. I’ve always have bought toys for my self. And my kids (puzzles,action figures) but just wasn’t a collector for them yet.

I had art pieces, shirts, pajamas, watches etc. Wasn’t until my brother got me a Michelangelo statue and my kids god-fathers parents got me a whole series of black n white ninja turtles that both sets of gifts were so fully detailed that I began to get serious on what I was purchasing from then on.

My collection extends to sweaters, underwear’s, PS3 games, beanie’s, watches. My wife even showed her love for me an allowed me to get the four ninja turtles tattooed on to my left shoulder. Couldn’t find what I wanted from online images. So I had to draw them out n let the tattooist do his magic. Took a total 10 hours to complete them.

I own every Tmnt movie but sadly no cartoons series’s. Was given a C/D / radio player of the mid 90s turtle.  Tucked away a 15 individual Tmnt LEGO figures from blind bags . To a nearly complete set of the NECA 90s Tmnt just wait on the release of the shredder to complete my set.

I’d have to say my grail is a tie between my hand drawn turtles turned detailed tattoos and the NECA 1990 TMNT.

I collect just bought any thing like for instance  the set of tmnt pounder drink glasses down and my set of tmnt shot  glasses. My kids were given a Leonardo play set dungeon, after they broke him an wanted nothing to do with it, I repaired him an now i have him set a side with my wide range of Tmnt collection in storage just waiting for the space to be set up n unboxed in.

Recently bought two retro classic systems for my wife and my self the classic Nintendo with 500 games on it 6 begin the classic tmnt games and the other retro console is the Super Nintendo with the tmnt games installed on it as well.

My favorite version of tmnt is the time they drop there weapons n picked up instruments n be came the nations top charting  rock group . Lol no my favorite version is the first series of cartoons and toys.

My earliest memories of tmnt is with myself an my 3 siblings. We would eat  our breakfast watching the tmnt cartoon, finish our cereal and run to our room grabbing our school backpacks on the way there.

I remember stuffing our bag with cloths rushing  to fill it up to put it on like turtle shell. First one with their shell on named the turtle they would pretend to play as. We would then run outside an begin to battle with sticks.

There is one thing I would like to see made since every type of version has been made already. It would consist to be a very blood n violent sin city film style movie other turtles black n white with beach ninja have their red bandanas let the writers figure out a story line.

Brady Law

Along with my other hobbies, model cars and LEGO Star Wars. I have a custom Slash made from a Battle Shell Raphael. The figures on the bottom are my original toys from when I was a kid. Everything still  packaged is nothing special or rare, but I still love them. The sai were made by my brother-in-law, an artistic welder.

Also- We got a great letter from young Marshall, who wants everyone to know what a huge fan of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles he is!

 Hello there! My name is Tyson and I’m only 12, so I haven’t had as much TMNT experience as a ton of other people have. I’m a die hard fan of them. I was introduced to them in 2012 on the day the show premiered. After experiencing the action, comedy, and drama that makes up the heart of the show, I fell in love with them ever since. Since that day, I have dedicated and committed my life to loving them till I die. I have since collected the original four, Shredder, the Shredder mutants, Shellraiser, and an old-school Slash action figures.

I also have the first couple volumes of the IDW and Mirage comic series and I also have (this is my favorite) the entire collection of DVDs from the 2012 TV series and I am currently watching the When Worlds Collide story arc. I’ve done extensive research on most of the comic series and I have also written the complete history of Leo, Raph, Donnie, and Mikey. I’m even wearing my Mikey jacket right now!

I have seen the original trilogy of movies, the newer reboots, Season 3 of the 1980s cartoon, and all of the 2012 series (my favorite incarnation). My best memory would have to be when I had a TMNT watching marathon while I had a pizza and chilled on my TMNT comforter. It would be SOOOOOO awesome if I was shown on the TMNT fanbase. I check in every day to see if you guys have posted anything and I also check the local news on google for anything exciting. I’m also trying to persuade my dad to let me buy Injustice 2 because of the TMNT expansion.

I LOVE the Turtles so much and I have my basement filled to the brim with everything TMNT. It is rare for me to go to school and not strike up a conversation about TMNT. They’re my biggest passion and have been for 6 years.

Vote for your favorite Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy!

It was always hard to pick just 1 Ninja Turtles toy.

How could I? They were all weird and cool. My parents were great and I didn’t have to settle on one toy, thankfully! But what was your favorite? Which toy was the best and made all your friends jealous? I wish I had the Technodrome still! But we want to know what YOUR favorite toy was! This is only including the first two waves from 1988 and 1989.

The toys and show was a smash hit, but it almost never happened! Playmates would only consider making the toys if a television deal were acquired. A 5 episode mini-series was ordered. It aired in December 1987 and had to air 3 times before people caught on!

Before this, Playmates sold mostly dolls and plastic playsets. But they were looking to get in to the Action Figure market, so it was a perfect fit. In the first 4 years of being sold, the Ninja Turtles line made $1.1 billion dollars!

Of all those toys sold, we want to know which was your favorite! It’s a single elimination bracket, so you don’t have to choose out of all of them.
