Earlier this year, IDW held a special event at the San Diego Comic Art Gallery in celebration of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 100 Project. This project was developed by the Hero Initiative to celebrate the 50th issue of TMNT and to draw attention to comic book creators in need. Believe it or not, a lot of the artists behind our favorite characters actually struggle to make ends meet, because this industry isn’t always very profitable. With that in mind, the Hero Initiative has joined with IDW once again to contribute to artists and creators in need.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 100 Project Art Book will combine all of the artwork developed for the project into one large collection. This book will feature all 100 covers produced for the 50th issue of TMNT, including artwork from notable creators such as Stan Sakai, Dan Brereton and Kevin Eastman. Needless to say, these are some fantastic artists and their work on this project was absolutely wonderful. Sadly, unless you want to collect all 100 issues, there’s currently no other way to see all of the artwork they did for the TMNT 100 Project.

That’s where the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 100 Project Art Book comes in.

The book will be released in stores at an MSRP of $14.99 on February 22nd, 2017. Considering that you’re getting over 100 pages of beautiful artwork, this might be one of the better deals we’ve ever seen from IDW. As if the price weren’t sweet enough, all of the proceeds will be going to the Hero Initiative. What better way to support comic book artists in need than by simply purchasing a book full of turtley awesome artwork? Avoid collecting every single cover variant for issue 50 and just pick up this collection of TMNT covers instead!
