Second TV Spot For ‘Out of the Shadows’ Hits The Web

The marketing campaign for Out of the Shadows is officially in full swing. After releasing an incredibly revealing TV Spot during the Super Bowl, Paramount has now begun airing a second TV spot for to promote the film. This spot isn’t as notable as the Superbowl ad, but it’s a pretty nifty addition to the collection thus far. It’s hard to believe we’ve seen so many advertisements for Out of the Shadows this quickly, but that’s just a further indication of the faith that they have in the movie.

Out of the Shadows Second TV Spot

In this second TV spot, we only get a few more seconds of footage that we probably haven’t seen before, and most of it is just extended shots such as the scene on the plane. Even if there aren’t many new details on display here, it’s nice to see yet another well crafted movie trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. It’s not every day that movie studios manage to pull off a series of excellent trailers, so it’s nice to see Paramount putting a lot more effort into these ads, especially after the somewhat questionable decisions they made with the marketing for the first film in the series.

At this point, one thing is for sure: this movie is shaping up to be a lot more goofy than the last. Just from the few trailers and tv spots we have seen so far, we can see that there’s a little more humor at play in Out of the Shadows. Oh, and how awesome does Krang look? Some fans were unimpressed, but I thought that Mandroid looked totally radical! Most fans seem to be happy with what they’ve seen thus far, but some of them aren’t yet sold on the movie.

Which camp are you in? Does Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows look promising, or is it a mess in the making? Let us know your thoughts!

My name is Justin Wren and I love to write about the TMNT! I've been a big Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan since the late 80's. Back then, I would watch the original animated series and play with the Playmates toys all the time. I have been following the boys ever since I was a kid, and I'm very happy to see them back in the limelight after all these years. Needless to say, I'm proud to be a member of the team on this awesome TMNT Fan Site!
