SPOILER ALERT: A few weeks ago we announced that Academy Award-nominated actress Laura Linney had signed on to appear in some form in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Her role, up until today, had been kept under wraps. Today, photos went live on the internet that show Linney on the set with Will Arnett and Megan Fox as a NYPD Detective. Her character’s badge and the back-up police behind her point to the obvious. It seems as if Linney’s character is pressuring April O’Neil and Vernon for information.
For reasons that should be obvious, the Ninja Turtles have always keep their identities under wraps from the public. But in TMNT 2, which is slated for release in the Summer of 2016, it’s apparent that the NYPD are hunting for answers. Our hats here at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.com come off to salute the producers of the new Turtles sequel as they have chosen an excellent lead actress to represent the cops in the film. Linney’s one hell of an actress and sure to capture the audience.
SUPER SPOILER ALERT: This next image shows Michelangelo and company speaking directly to Laura Linney in broad-daylight. All of these images seem to be from the same scene from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. We’re guessing that the Ninja Turtles, here, are being publically lambasted and now they’ve got to decide how they’re going to save face.

or that irish cop relentlessly pusuing the turtles because he thinks they’re leprechauns.
I always wanted to see a dark version of that character,like he dies but he still want his wish from the leprechauns(think the hitchhiker from Creepshow 2)
I expect her character to play major roles in the story line.

She’s going to have a role just like Stanley Tucci,John Malkovich,Frances McDormand or any of the actors of that calibur in Michael Bay movies.

It’d be funny if she was Detective Miller. That character is based on Frank Miller,if you know anything about his issues with women,that’d be hilarious. At some con he’d probably go on a rant about not being a woman,but being from God’s Green America or something grandpa-ish.
I agree. I think her role will be exactly like what you have stated. Pretty much a phoned in performance. Good actress in a non-academy award winning movie.

They should really think about who they hire to play in these movies. Directors change up a lot of things that don’t go along with the cartoons. That’s why I hate some of these movies. We need a red head April O’Neal. They will pick anybody to play a part. Then they will find out why the movie don’t be a big success!
