Fans of all incarnations remember the classic trench coat used to disguise the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, especially with Raphael as he always requires personal time away from his brothers. The photo below shows Raphael (Alan Ritchson) walking around New York in the classic trench coat to conceal his identity.
Sure it may be a bit creepy to see a giant mutated turtle in a trench coat, but you have to compromise if your a Ninja Turtles who’s craving pizza or in need to offer heroics. The film is coming along well and some sort of preview should be surfacing this year so stick around and feel free to share your thoughts [below] TMNT fans!!

Thats not the classic outfit. He like Chevy Chase in the Invisable man movie he did. And why is Raph 6 feet tall? And if it were the classic outfit there wouldnt be a scarf. Yest another fail in a list of fails for the filming of this movie.
Have you guys notice that almost every time there’s a picture taken everyone is completely unaware of the photos being taken except Megan Fox.. She looks right into the camera and makes a ‘model’ pose and makes a ‘modely’ type face.
MEGAN FOX GTFO THE FREAKIN” MOVIE!!!
It’s more credible than the disguise from the 1990 movie; Raphael just put on a hat and trench coat and suddenly it was a Bugs Bunny cartoon where obvious disguises fool people. I know the cliche is that New Yorkers don’t look each other when they walk down the street, but even they’d notice someone with a big, freaky, mutant face.
Perhaps my standards for this reboot are slowly slipping downward, but I’m going to put this on the success list, if only because that list is getting awfully lonely…
why is he wearing a scarf and why is he wearing sunglasses?!? Does not look good at all. Also the Trench coat is not quite right he looks to thin in the middle, he looks like a normalish guy in a coat, not a turtle!!! However, I will wait to see the movie until passing final judgment.
Wise choice Rebecca 🙂
i think im gonna give the movie a chance till i see it im a die hard turtle fan more than most people i grew up on the originals but liked the 2003 and 2013 cartoons they all had different takes on the turtles which what kept me interested who wants to see the Same Exact thing over and over again for 30 years small changes like this shouldn’t even be criticized even some bigger ones i could see if they actually did the alien turtles one but if there’s no major plot flip story turn. try to keep a 60 to 75 percent original id be ok with that
