Fans of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows will be happy to hear that ThreeZero is about to release some awesome figures based on the film. After their fabulous work with Kevin Eastman, it’s nice to see that they’re going to continue working on collectible figures of our heroes in a half shell. Although these designs may not be everyone’s cup of tea, they are quite beautifully detailed. To be honest, this might even be more impressive than the work done by Prime 1 Studios, and their figures are typically a lot more expensive!
If you’ve been paying attention to the TMNT collectible market in recent years, chances are that you’re familiar with the work done by Prime 1. Shortly after the release of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014), they produced a Raphael figure based on his characterization in that movie. Unfortunately, the price for this limited edition item was pretty steep, and a lot of fans simply couldn’t afford it. If you’ve been on the lookout for something more affordable, these new TMNT figures from ThreeZero should hit the spot.

At a price of about $220 each, these Leonardo and Michelangelo figures are still a bit expensive. That being said, at least they aren’t as costly as previous efforts from Prime 1! A close look at these awesome new TMNT figures reveals that they are just as highly detailed as previous attempts to recreate the characters. Of course, this isn’t the first time that ThreeZero has created collectibles based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Just a few months ago, they revealed plans for two awesome Bebop and Rocksteady figures based on the film.
Needless to say, this company is producing a lot of excellent work as of late. First they decide to work with Kevin Eastman himself, then they recreate everyone’s favorite henchmen, and now they’re moving on to Leo and Mikey! I don’t know about you, but I’m very excited to see what this company produces next. Pre-orders for these TMNT figures will be available on October 5th, 2016.
