If you haven’t been paying attention to the work that Sideshow has been doing over the past few years, then you might have missed their latest line of TMNT statues. The plan is to release all four turtles individually, allowing fans to collect all four as they are released. We first discovered information about the design of these statues earlier this summer, when they revealed a teaser image of their Leonardo statue. Thankfully, Leo is now available for pre-order, and it would appear that his brothers will be following suit very soon.

Recently, Sideshow unveiled images of their Michelangelo statue and revealed that the figure would be available for pre-order on August 25th. It’s nice to see a company producing collectible figures so quickly, because we usually have to wait half a year or more before we even get information about the next product in a TMNT line. If they keep up this pace, we could see Donny and Raph by the end of the year! Okay, it’s probably more likely that they will finish this run sometime in the winter or early spring of 2017.

I absolutely adore the stylish design of this Michelangelo statue. He fits perfectly right alongside his brother Leonardo, and it’s now perfectly clear that these figures are based on artwork that Sideshow had previously commissioned. If you’ve been looking for an awesome display piece for your living room (or even your office), these TMNT statues are probably one of the more unique and beautiful collectibles that you will find on the market.

At a price of $349.99 each, these are actually a tad more affordable than similar collectibles, but they’re still a bit too expensive for most TMNT fans. That being said, they do actually allow you to set up a payment plan for these statues, allowing you to pay about $50 a month for 6 months. Sideshow understands that most collectors can’t afford to drop hundreds of dollars on something all at once, so they have developed options for everyone to make payment easier.

Even if you’re not interested in paying that much for this Michelangelo statue, you have to admit that it looks pretty awesome.
