Ladies and Gentlemen, the moment has arrived. Two weeks ago we gave you election profiles for our favorite ninja team, Splinter, and Shredder, and asked you to determine our endorsement for President. Some gave us just a name, while some explained their choice. A few included their pick for Vice President, while others gave us a whole cabinet. More than one person suggested Shredder should become a gardener. We even had a couple write ins, including one person who suggested Bebop and Rocksteady should share the office of President! But there can only be one winner.
Before we get to that though, I want to thank everyone who participated. This is a whacky concept, so thanks for giving us your two cents. I want to give a couple superlatives for those who participated:
The award for “Most Sound Logic” goes to Amanda Winslow, who stated, “Donatello as he is the most intelligent and knows how to solve issues with diplomacy before resorting to violence. 💜” Bonus points for the heart emoji.
The award for “Why Would You Do That?” goes to Patricia Inzunza Barrancas, Tee Tee Nick, and Shawn Young, for wanting to put Krang, Shredder, or both in charge of the military. They would most certainly try to take over immediately.
The award for “Best Use of a Movie Quote” goes to David MacDonald, who said, “Mikey, as he says ‘Forgiveness is divine, but never pay full price for late pizza.'”
The award for “I Really Wish You Explained Your Answer” goes to Mario J Amanda Fantauzzi for writing in the Rat King! I honestly want to hear his campaign slogan!
And the final superlative is the award for “Woah, Bureaucracy is Going to Get Ridiculous” which goes to Mike Payne who wrote in the entire race of Triceratons. I’m 100% confident they can’t all fit in the White House.

It was a pretty close race, but the elder statesman of the TMNT universe takes the win. As for vice president, we actually had a tie between Leonardo and Donatello. However, since Leo had more votes than Donnie for President, the position of Vice President goes to him.
