Baxter Stockman has officially been announced for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. The mad scientist will be played by Tyler Perry, who has a knack for playing comedic and dramatic roles. Perry last acted as a high profile lawyer, Tanner Bolt, in Affleck’s Gone Girl – which he (Tyler Perry) did an excellent job as a supporting actor.
Stockman’s character in the TMNT universe is best known for his inventions, including his Mousers. Ultimately, these creations by Stockman will get him on board with The Shredder, whether it’s by force or simply asked – the Shredder will get his way! Baxter Stockman will most likely play a part in creating Shredder’s tenacious henchmen, Bebop & Rocksteady.
You may have missed it, but Baxter Stockman appeared in the 2014 film for two brief moments. He worked with Eric Sacks and Dr. O’Neil (April’s father) in their early days at Sacks Industries.
