NYCC: Details on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Season 2, 1980’s Turtles to cameo

New York Comic Con featured a huge panel for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and it was a sure crowd-pleaser. Fans gathered and cheered for cast members like Ciro Nieli (executive producer), Brandon Aumen (head writer), Grep Cipes (Michelangelo), Rob Paulsen (Donatello), and Hoon Lee (Master Splinter). Lots of exciting details have been released for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles season 2.

Ciro Nieli previously announced a cameo from the 1987 Ninja Turtles and he kept true to his word, however he did stress it was just a cameo. One of the final episodes of season two will be set entirely on Dimension-X. Nieli’s big reveal promised a inter-dimensional rift to open up to 1980’s universe to some familiar faces, the 1980’s Ninja Turtles. Rob Paulson will be voicing present Donatello and 1980’s Raphael in the same episode, pretty exciting stuff huh?

Check out the interview below with Greg Cipes, Ciro Nieli, and Hoon Lee and tell us your season 2 predictions.
