Lionsgate to Release TMNT Complete Series Gift Set

Just a few weeks after releasing the tenth and final season of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD, Lionsgate Entertainment has announced that they will also soon be releasing a complete series box set. This set will include everything previously available in the individual season sets, all in one complete collection designed for display purposes. As you can no doubt see, the discs will be housed in a mock-up of the Turtle Van! Fans of the TMNT will immediately recognize this van from the show, being the same van that the turtles often used to get around. If anything, this packaging reminds me of the toys we all used to buy when we were younger. There’s no word yet on whether or not the van will actually be mobile, but would you really want your DVDs traveling around in a tiny plastic car? Probably not. This will make for a cool piece to display on your shelf, even if you should just choose to keep it in the box.

Sadly, there are no plans for any new special features with this release of the complete Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection; this is basically just a repackaging of the DVDs that have already been released. However, if you’ve been waiting to pick up the season sets until now, perhaps this 23 disc set is the perfect choice. At an MSRP of only $99.98, this Complete Classic TMNT Series Collection includes the entire 10 seasons spread over 23 discs, which isn’t a bad price. That’s basically ten bucks a season, and considering they’re all coming in this radical Turtle Van, that’s not a bad deal at all! This gift set will be released by Lionsgate Entertainment on November 13th, just in time for the holiday season. Quick! What’s the perfect gift besides one of Michelangelo’s signature pizzas? This totally awesome complete series set of the TMNT!
