Back in the early 90’s, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles were so popular that they were being thrown on every piece of promotional material possible. There was TMNT pasta, TMNT cereal, TMNT pies – and yes, even TMNT ice cream bars. When it came to the frozen treats, most fans had to wait for an ice cream truck to drive down their street in order to get one. Regardless, these often imperfect desserts still managed to become one of the most memorable symbols of turtle fever.
TMNT ice cream bars were so popular that the company CultureFly was recently tasked with creating a special vinyl based on the item. This vinyl was designed to look like the Raphael ice cream bar, and it became part of the exclusive Nick Box. Until recently, this was one of the only ways to get a TMNT ice cream vinyl, but CultureFly recently attended a convention bearing even more of these collectibles. At that point, we knew it was only a matter of time before this memorabilia hit the market.
Thankfully, we can now confirm that the Donatello, Leonardo and Michelangelo ice cream vinyls are all available on CultureFly’s website for only $15 each. Sadly, the Raphael vinyl is still a Nick Box exclusive, but at least it’s now possible to get all four turtles. That being said, it is important to note that these collectibles are extremely limited and they won’t be around for long. If you want to pick up even one of these TMNT ice cream vinyls, do yourself a favor and order them ASAP.
