Paramount Plans Awesome Out of the Shadows Collector’s Edition Blu-ray

If you were among the millions of fans who absolutely loved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, Paramount has developed a collector’s edition blu-ray release that is sure to end up on your wishlist very soon. Given the disappointing numbers at the box office, I had a feeling that they were going to make a pretty big push when it came to the home video market, and that’s exactly what they’ve done. Although the standalone release of Out of the Shadows is currently available for pre-order at the price of $24.99, for a few more bucks you can snag this Collector’s Edition instead.

The Out of the Shadows Collector’s Edition blu-ray comes packaged in a special Tartaruga Truck lunchbox featuring the Ninja Turtles behind the wheel. Considering that this is a metal lunchbox, it could serve either as an excellent display piece or as a functional container. In addition to Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows, this lunchbox will also come with the blu-ray of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) and four TMNT masks. Needless to say, that’s a pretty good deal at the current price tag of $29.96! Heck, the Tartaruga Truck lunchbox is probably worth more than $5 on its own, easily making up the added cost for this awesome blu-ray set.

Whether or not you liked the first movie, you’ve got to admit that this is a pretty good deal. Less than $30 for two movies, an awesome TMNT lunchbox and four Ninja Turtles masks? Sign me up, please! Sadly, although the pre-orders are available now, there is no official release date for this Out of the Shadows Collector’s Edition blu-ray as of yet. Chances are that this set will be released at some point before the holidays this year, but it could come out even earlier than that. With a lunchbox included, this would make for a pretty nice release in August or September, right before school starts up again.
