It would appear that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are about to make their Professional Baseball debut. Recently, the Fresno Grizzlies announced that they would be sporting a very special jersey based on our beloved Ninja Turtles during one of their many games this season. The Grizzlies are the Triple-A affiliate of The Giants, which is just one step below the majors. You know what that means, right? If the Ninja Turtles are this close to the majors, it's only a matter of time before they get the call! Okay, so maybe our heroes in a half shell aren't actually going to be playing baseball, but these TMNT jerseys sure are awesome.

Not only are the Grizzlies going to be wearing these awesome baseball jerseys during an actual game, but they will be auctioning them off for charity afterward. The auction is set to take place right after the game is played on August 2nd of 2014, mere days before the release of the new movie. Whether you're a fan of the Fresno Grizzlies or a Shellhead like the rest of us (or both), this is an undeniably awesome event. What better way to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles than by bringing them to the ballpark?
Featuring a design which calls back to the original 1987 TMNT Animated Series, these Ninja Turtle jerseys are sure to please the fans and fetch a hefty price at auction. With that in mind, if you intend to bid on one of these uniforms, you better start saving up now! This all reminds me of that scene from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie when Casey Jones first meets Raphael. “A Jose Canseco bat? Tell me you didn't pay money for this!” Maybe you won't want to pay for one of those bats, but I sure hope these jerseys fetch a pretty penny since the proceeds are going to charity.
