Whoopi Goldberg has been on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles live action film recently wearing a large jacket and wig to cover up her identity. Her role has been kept secret until now, apparently she will be acting the character Burne Thompson from the 1987 series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Burne Thompson is an editor at Channel 6 news and more importantly is the boss of both April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and Vernon Fenwick (Will Arnett). Fans of the 1987 TMNT series remember this character as a male character, but this movie will feature this character as female (Bernadette Thompson).
Burne Thompson’s character would constantly blame crime in New York City on the Ninja Turtles but never allowed his feelings to stop April O’Neil to from reporting on their heroics.
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie will be hitting theaters June 6th, 2014. The current cast holds:
