A little over a week ago, we revealed the news that there are quite a few more Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys coming from Playmates in 2013, but we didn’t have any pictures of what to expect quite yet. Thankfully, I’m glad to report that we’ve finally received some of the first images of these new toys, taken at the recent Hong Kong toy fair. Included in the group of images are some of the toys we previously announced, as well as a few toys that haven’t been announced anywhere quite yet. In addition to pictures of Leatherhead, The Rat King and Scumbug are reveals of a whole new line of mini figures, the Shredder unmasked and “Ninjas in Training” 2-packs. If you were at all curious about what to expect from these new figures, look no further than these images. Revealed in a video showcase shown on NinjaPizza.net, it’s clear that Playmates is putting quite a lot of effort into this toy line.
As I expressed in the first article about these figures, I was particularly interested to see how the proposed 7-pack of Mousers would turn out. As you can see from the picture in the video, it looks like they’re pretty well molded. They’re just the right size for the turtles to fight with, and it looks like their mouths may be fully functional. The design of these new figures is also quite excellent and in keeping with the quality of the previous toys in the line. What I find particularly interesting are the new “Ninjas in Training” sets, which feature small modeled figures of our beloved heroes in a half shell. Complete with cute little dots for eyes, these figures may be more for show than for play, but they look pretty cool and very well crafted. Needless to say, it looks like we can expect many more awesome toys from Playmates in the near future.

Well, It looks like FILA has you covered!They will soon be releasing a special pair of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles FX-100 sneakers featuring four different colors of headband for the top of the shoe. Do you feel like being Leonardo today? Or do you feel more like Raphael? Well, whichever turtle you prefer to sport each day, you’ll be able to with these awesome shoes! Are you more into the villains than the heroes? Well, in addition to the main turtle colored shoes, there will also be a set of shoes designed to look like the Shredder. Whichever side of the fight you prefer to be on, FILA will have some awesome shoes to help you look the part. When are they coming out, you ask? Well, by the time you finish reading this, they’ll probably have been released already. These totally radical shoes are set for release on January 25th and will be available on Fila.com.
