Mark Hamill to Voice New Enemy Kavaxas on Nickelodeon’s TMNT

For some, he may be best known in his role as Luke Skywalker in Star Wars. For others, he is the unquestionable voice of The Joker in several animated versions of Batman. However you have come to know Mark Hamill, chances are that his name will be more than a little familiar. He’s noted as one of the finest voice actors in the world, and Nickelodeon has brought him on board to provide the voice of a new enemy named Kavaxas. Needless to say, this character is probably going to sound very menacing!
This information was first unveiled during the TMNT panel at NYCC 2016. Shortly thereafter, a clip of the new character’s first appearance hit the web, giving us our first taste of the enemy. Kavaxas is a demodragon, and it would appear that Tigerclaw is the one who awakens him. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like this was a wise decision, because as soon as Hamill’s character shows up, he almost immediately attacks Tigerclaw. I don’t know about you, but I’m very eager to see how the turtles will resolve this issue!
Will Kavaxas become an important character in the show, or will he only appear in one episode? So far, we don’t have any information about the longevity of this enemy, and we will likely have to wait until he appears before discovering anything more. That being said, it’s definitely nice to see Mark Hamill joining the cast for at least one episode, because he’s definitely a legend when it comes to voice acting. Few actors are as immediately recognizable as Hamill, and it sounds like he nailed this character.
