Nickelodeon and Viacom have entered a partnership with Netflix to create movies for the streaming giant based on their biggest properties.
On Viacom’s earnings call early this morning, it was said that these were new films rather than episodes. While “Loud House” will clearly be based on the existing show, it wasn’t explicitly said the TMNT movie would be based on “Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles,” although very likely.
This looks like a great promotional tool for the network and shows. We will update with any news and future updates.
