The Pizza of the 1987 Ninja Turtles Cartoon! (Infographic)

by Justin W

We try to mix it up here at TeenageMutantNinjaTurtles.com every so often..

Given the popularity of infographics these days…(Don’t people read anymore?) We thought we’d show you in a single glance the many funny varieties of pizza pie that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ate and enjoyed on their 1987 animated television series.

Surprisingly, not many of these look that awful. Yet, you have to wonder, still, if these pizzas are actually those which the Turtles consumed or, in fact, do they belong to a very far-along pregnant woman with those bizarre cravings for wacky combinations of food. Yes, we know, sorry for hating on the preggers out there. Mucho love, indeed.

Given the rise in recent years of the pizza buffet (CiCi’s, Stevie B’s, the Pizza Hut buffet), it isn’t truly out of the realm of possibilities that said pizzas could not in fact exist or be made for such buffets. We’ve all had a dessert pizza, no? Theoretically, someone would just have to put in the work to make any of these into reality.

Pizzas like “Popcorn” or the “Pepperoni with Pickle” actually appear sort of appetizing, while others like, “Peanut Butter and Clam,” or “Jelly Bean and Sausage,” not so much. At any rate–here are the pizzas that the Turtles enjoyed on the much-loved 1987 animated television series.

cool
Cinemassacre(AVGN,James Rolph) did a video about this called MIkey’s Pizza Taste Test or something like that
good stuff if you haven’t seen it

turns out popcorn is nastier than you’d think because it soaks up the grease

oh yeah, and STEPHEN AMELL IS CASEY IN MICHAEL BAY TURTLES 2!
He’s a Schwarzenneger sized Canadian,so that’s cool.

blonde though, but besides that he could be good as long as Michael Bay doesn’t use him as TMNT’s answer to Mark Wahlberg in Transformers or as just a love interest.
something good though is some reports say he was cast based off chemistry with Megan Fox. Bay doesn’t usually waste time with “boring things” like chemistry so that’s a good sign
