TMNT 2 Movie Scene to Shoot in Albany, New York

by Justin Bozung

Some news broke today regarding the shooting of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2…

Apparently, the film is scheduled to shoot an action sequence in Albany, New York. This was announced on the website Lights-Camera-Jackson.com, which is run by Jackson Murphy, a young and rising movie critic.

Producer of Turtles 2 Andrew Form specified that the filming of Ninja Turtles 2 would take place in New York City. So it seems at this time that Albany may also be used for at least one action sequence for the film. It’s rumored to be a high-octane sequence with a high-speed car chase with guns. Sounds exciting right?

Turtles 2 will be helmed by [director] Dave Green. The word on the street is that Green is great at working with a low budget. So, if he’s working with as big of a budget as we think that Turtles 2 will have–no doubt, he’ll be delivering a fun ride.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014) really took a beating from critics when it was released last year as well as great scrutiny regarding it’s “leaked” script. Hopefully, Dave Green will be able to deliver everything the fans want with this next turn of Turtles.

What do you think about this rumor of a scene being shot in Albany, New York? Tell us what you think!

Albany, New York is where they shot the Snow Chase scene in the 1st film, It’ll be interesting to see how they top that in the sequel.

I just hope the action scene involves Bebop and Rocksteady.

I am actually happy about this sequel and can’t wait to see it. At first reading this i thought really this chase is going to have guns? However the first one had g.i. joe comman…..umm i mean foot soliders with guns so this is no surprise. I don’t care how well they execute this scene bebop and rocksteady must be included. It was awesome that we got bebop and rocksteady now in the nick cartoon and now i am extremely looking forward to seeing the duo on the big screen and looking forward to the information we get course of the year.

Judging from the end of the last movie, Shredder is still alive and knows where the turtles live… turtles’ lair is compromised.. they might be heading to April’s Farm house to give Splinter a recuperating chance… maybe it would be in Albany New York… So much can be done in the second movie.. just hope they don’T mess this up.
