At the PAX East PlayStation booth, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was a playable demo. We had a chance to demo the game, and here are our thoughts and gameplay impressions:
Bebop
If there is any way to make a Monday more exciting, it’s by announcing a brand new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles miniseries starring Bebop and Rocksteady. Fortunately, IDW Publishing has this one covered by bringing TMNT: Bebop & Rocksteady Destroy Everything.
It’s been a while since we featured some of our favorite fan made videos about the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, so let’s take a look at some turtley awesome videos that have hit the web recently. This time around, we’ve got three radical videos featuring subjects as varied as TMNT toys, parodies of the original Ninja Turtles movies and even an entertaining unboxing of the TMNT Box! Without further ado, let’s take a look at our first subject. This is turtley awesome!

Ninja Turtles Play With TMNT Mega Bloks
If this doesn’t immediately bring back memories of the most recent New York Comic-con panel performed by the voice cast of Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, perhaps you should go back and watch what Seth Green does for the majority of the event. That’s right, he essentially spends the entire time focused on his Leonardo Mega Bloks set! It’s not difficult to see why he would be so enthralled with these awesome TMNT toys, so it shouldn’t be too surprising to see the turtles themselves checking out the latest Mega Bloks TMNT sets on display at the Toy Fair.

Bebop and Rocksteady Discover Tokka and Rahzar
Remember the two mutants that Shredder created in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze? Well, Bebop and Rocksteady sure didn’t know about these two! This hilarious parody pokes fun at the fact that they decided to create two mutants for the movie who were similar to Bebop and Rocksteady, although the story doesn’t end well for Tokka and Razhar. It’s bad enough that these two only really got noticed in that one movie, but now we’re just putting them out to pasture? Thankfully, Out of the Shadows features the two big mutant baddies that everyone is familiar with, so there shouldn’t be too many complaints this time around.

Michelangelo Opens TMNT Box With Fan
We’ve done our own unboxing of the TMNT Box, but now you can see what it’s like to open up this box of Ninja Turtles goodies for yourself! The approach these fans take to their videos is absolutely hilarious, as a stuffed Michelangelo toy joins them for the duration of the video, and even gets to try on one of the items in the TMNT Box. Needless to say, these shellheads were pretty pleased with what they got, even if one of the items they received happened to be something they already had. Hopefully next time they won’t get any repeats!
What do you think? Were these videos fun to watch? Do you have any videos you want to share with us? Feel free to drop us a line and let us know if there’s any video you want to promote or share with other Ninja Turtles fans in the world, because we enjoy sharing the love whenever possible! These were just a few of the more entertaining videos we found recently, but we know there are others out there that we have yet to see, so don’t hesitate to send us your favorite turtley awesome videos.
The Loyal Subjects has made a name for themselves by producing several lines of high quality vinyl figures. Last year, they unveiled their first line of TMNT vinyls, and fans were more than a little pleased. Not only were the designs unique and interesting, but unlike over vinyl figures, they were very easy to pose and play with. The line was so popular that they decided to do a second wave, which just recently became available for sale on their website. At a price tag of $13.99 per figure, it may seem like these 3.25″ TMNT toys are a little costly, but trust us when we say that these are high quality items.

Included as part of the second wave are variations of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles alongside a few new villains. Perhaps most notably, two of the newest enemies added to the bunch are Slash and Leatherhead. Okay, so they aren’t actually enemies in the new Nickelodeon series, but it’s still nice to see them in this wave of TMNT vinyls. In addition to these fan favorites, you can also expect to find Bebop and Rocksteady, who both have some fairly stylistic designs. A variation of Splinter, Shredder and the Foot Ninja have also been included, each designed to look a little more like their counterparts in the original animated series.

Yes, figures from The Loyal Subjects are a bit pricier than other vinyls, but you get a lot more bang for your buck as well. Although they are currently only available via blind boxes, there are already listings in the store for combo packs including either Bebop and Rocksteady, Leatherhead and Slash, or all four Ninja Turtles. These alternative releases are not yet available, but they should be shipping sometime this spring. If you can’t wait that long to get your hands on these awesome TMNT vinyls, at least you can pick up some blind boxes right now!
What do you think? Has The Loyal Subjects hit it out of the park with Wave 2? Are you tempted to pick up a few blind boxes? Let us know in the comments below!
When we announced that Mega Bloks would be releasing a slew of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets, the news was met with mixed reactions. Some fans were happy to see cool new TMNT toys on the way, while others wanted to see more LEGO TMNT sets.
Although these images might not be enough to placate LEGO fans, I’m sure others will be sold when they see these awesome Mega Bloks TMNT sets! Heck, the first image alone is sure to catch the eye of any long time fan, as Krang and his Mandroid from the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series are on display.

It looks like Mega Bloks is going where LEGO wouldn’t and making a bunch of classic TMNT sets. If you’ve ever wanted to Build Krang’s Mandroid before, now you can! In addition to this set, they will also be releasing both a Bebop and Rocksteady package featuring several members of the foot clan.
As if that weren’t enough, they will also be releasing sets featuring designs from Nickelodeon’s TMNT and the Half-Shell Heroes line. It would appear that there will be individual packages for each of the turtles, so if you ever end up with a set that only provides one or two of them, at least you can get them individually!

At this point, it’s pretty clear that Mega Bloks is going all out to give fans the best TMNT toys they can make. They aren’t just focusing on one version of the Ninja Turtles, either – they’re providing options for fans of three different iterations of our favorite heroes in a half shell.
Even if you don’t like the brand, you have to admit that they’re putting a lot of effort into these Ninja Turtles toys. I don’t know about you, but I’m absolutely pumped for this awesome collection of Mega Bloks TMNT sets!
