SPOILER ALERT: A few weeks ago we announced that Academy Award-nominated actress Laura Linney had signed on to appear in some form in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. Her role, up until today, had been kept under wraps. Today, photos went live on the internet that show Linney on the set with Will Arnett and Megan Fox as a NYPD Detective. Her character’s badge and the back-up police behind her point to the obvious. It seems as if Linney’s character is pressuring April O’Neil and Vernon for information.

For reasons that should be obvious, the Ninja Turtles have always keep their identities under wraps from the public. But in TMNT 2, which is slated for release in the Summer of 2016, it’s apparent that the NYPD are hunting for answers. Our hats here at Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.com come off to salute the producers of the new Turtles sequel as they have chosen an excellent lead actress to represent the cops in the film. Linney’s one hell of an actress and sure to capture the audience.

SUPER SPOILER ALERT: This next image shows Michelangelo and company speaking directly to Laura Linney in broad-daylight. All of these images seem to be from the same scene from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. We’re guessing that the Ninja Turtles, here, are being publically lambasted and now they’ve got to decide how they’re going to save face.

SPOILER ALERT: The set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has two of April O’Neil. Well, only one will be considered for the role of April for the film–as Judith Hoag, who played April in Steve Barron’s 1990 live-action Turtles classic has just been spotted. It seems as though Judith’s appearance will likely be in the form of a cameo role in the new Turtles movie–yet let us to rejoice!

Judith Hoag, who has worn the crown as the reigning April O’Neil for the generations of Turtles fans around the world will prove to be a nice addition to the upcoming sequel which is slated for release in the Summer of 2016.

According to photos leaked from the set, Megan Fox will be interviewing Judith Hoag in Time Square.  Hoag seems to be involved in the media in some sort of fashion in the new Turtles movie.  We’re guessing this because:  1.) She is wearing a business savvy dress  2.) She’s seen with a recording device in her hand.

While it’s not likely that Judith’s cameo will be cut out of the film when it finds its release next year–isn’t it fair for us to be concerned about such?  For wasn’t Kevin Eastman’s cameo role cut out of the 2014 film?

There were a lot of scenes cut out of the 2014 film, in fact.  One major scene that the fans really were upset about was one that featured Raphael in his trench coat. The scene would’ve paid homage to the original TMNT (1990) film when Raphael met Casey Jones for the first time.

Thanks to the wonderful news crew at WIVB-TV for reporting all the TMNT related news in Buffalo, NY. So far, the news crew has provided footage of the action-packed car chase, including a giant explosion.

According to [Producer] Brad Fuller, the opening scene of TMNT 2 will feature this intense car chase. So we encourage you not to be late for this film when it hits theaters next year in 2016. You could be missing out on one hell of an amazing opening sequence.

It’s our understanding, that said car chase involves the Foot Soliders stealing something from an armored vehicle. It could be cash-money to fund Shredder’s evil project (s), or as we would guess–Shredder’s revenge on the Turtles and New York City in way of something chemical.

It looks like TMNT 2 may have taken some of its inspiration from the hit animated Nick Turtles series–as we see an odd-shaped motorcycle that appears via the shape of a Dragon Bike.

TMNT 2 is really garnering a buzz amongst the people of Buffalo, NY., as not only are portions being shot upstate in the land of the Bills, but also down in New York City as well–to keep it true to its root, no doubt.

TMNT 2 has also had major additions to its cast as of recently. As well as confirmed special cameos as well.

The set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II has recently been star studded with the appearance of many sport stars and other celebrities. Los Angeles Clippers star JJ Redick has said that he will have a cameo in the upcoming movie, as well as fellow NBA star Carmelo Anthony who was spotted on the set of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II. Another major star that was spotted on the set of TMNT II is supermodel and actress Alessandra Ambrosio who was very excited to play a part in one of the most anticipated sequels.

In other news Stephen Amell (who will be playing Casey Jones in TMNT II) was recently asked about his favorite turtle and what it will be like to work with them. Amell said that as a child Michelangelo was his favorite but it would be hard to pick one now. Stephen Amell was then asked about what it is like to film with the turtles to which he replied,

“We do the scenes three times. We do it once with actors; they have all these crazy dots for CGI on their face. They have little antennas that stick out of their head that are eyeballs, because the turtles practically are taller.”

He was then asked if there was any spoilers that he could share, to which he jokingly replied that Casey Jones drives a cool car, and eats something, we wonder what that something is?
