It’s almost that time of year again, which means that major retailers like Toys R Us are releasing gigantic books full of the season’s hottest toys. In addition to offering parents a lot of great deals, these books also offer kids the opportunity to show their parents the toys that they are most excited about. After three solid years of the TMNT revival, it shouldn’t be too surprising to see an entire two page spread devoted to many of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toys you can find at their store. As if that weren’t awesome enough, the turtles make an appearance in some of the commercials for the Book of Awesome as well.
Toys R Us has crafted two ads for the toy book so far, and each one prominently features the Ninja Turtles. During the longer of the two advertisements, the turtles talk about all of the awesome action figures you can find on their page of the Big Book of Awesome. Looking at the page above, it’s clear to see that they’ve got a lot of awesome Playmates toys on display, while the ads themselves feature some toys from the Mutations line of TMNT toys. Of course, this is just one of the first images from the toy book, and the full thing will be sent out to Toys R Us kids everywhere very soon.
