The hype train for Out of the Shadows simply will not die down. Something tells me that Paramount is more than just a little pleased with the results of this film, because they probably would not be promoting it this much if they had no faith in the product. Of course, this isn’t the first time we’ve seen character posters for a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, as they previously released similar poster artwork to promote the first film in 2014. However, this time around we’ve seen a lot more than just a few movie posters, so it’s safe to say that they’ve done a much better job of promoting this movie than they did last time. The new Out of the Shadow Character Posters are amazing quality this time around.

Featured in the artwork are our heroes in a half shell perched upon various buildings in New York City. As they look out over the city, their body language says a lot about each individual character. This is something that I’m sure many fans are hopeful to see carried over into the movie itself. After all, one of the biggest complaints with the first film was the lack of characterization we got to see in the turtles. There were a few memorable moments (the elevator scene, for instance), but many fans were concerned about the fact that the turtles didn’t have much time to develop personalities. Thankfully, the trailers and other promotional material seem to suggest that we’re in for a much different Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie this time around.
These posters are reminiscent of early fan art for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows. Whether it’s sunrise or sunset, the magic hour is a popular choice for both cinematography and artwork related to films, so it’s not too surprising to see them take this approach. I don’t know about you, but these are Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles posters that I actually wouldn’t mind hanging on my wall. What do you think?
