Earlier this year, NECA unveiled their plans for a series of figures based on the baby turtles from the 90’s TMNT movies. At the time, they had yet to reveal any additional information about these collectibles, but the early images looked very promising. Now that they’ve had a few months to work on the product, additional details about pricing, release date and accessories have finally emerged.
Rather than splitting the baby turtles up and selling them individually, NECA has decided to sell all four in one set. This set of TMNT figures will include three accessories: a bag of chips, a pizza box (with four slices), and a turtle hand twirling nunchucks. The pizza box will apparently be big enough for at least one turtle to stand inside, so chances are that the chip bag will also be appropriately sized.

Now we come to the issue of price. Although NECA’s products are usually at least a little expensive, fans will probably be pretty happy to hear that they can pre-order this set of baby turtles right now for only $49.99. As if that news weren’t good enough, NECA has also revealed that these collectibles will be shipping in March of 2018. In just three short months, you’ll have the opportunity to get your hands on these awesome TMNT figures.
This announcement comes just a few months after NECA revealed their plan to release two pieces of memorabilia based on the 90’s TMNT movies – including a TCRI Mutagen Canister. This collectible is still available for pre-order and it would definitely make for a nice companion piece with the baby turtle figures. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty impressed with NECA’s plans for 2018!
