William Fichtner’s Shredder has been Recreated

Paramount Pictures upcoming 2014 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot will be featuring some cast in a slightly different method William Fichtner has revealed his character as Shredder is significantly different. Fichtner had the following to say in a recent interview with Zap2it:

“Actually, I play a guy named Erik Sacks in the film, and Erik Sacks goes though … a few changes … let’s just put it that way.”

So the main villain in this reboot will be an entirely new character or a revamped version of Shredder. The film is currently filming in Brooklyn New York and Fichtner is having a great time on set. Fichtner discovered the massive following of the Ninja Turtles.

“Its much bigger than I knew. What’s really exciting about working on the ‘Turtles’ movie right now is that this is a Michael Bay-produced film. And for whatever my experience is before, in the whole world of the Ninja Turtles, I’ve never seen anything before that has to do with the Turtles like it is in this. This is pretty exciting; this is modern technology. And you’re going to see things — this is not like, you know, a goofy little cartoon. That’s not this movie. This is uh … this is pretty [laughs] … this is pretty out there.”

Fichtner is keeping details close to the vest until hes told otherwise, you can expect the villain outfit to be different. Fans of TMNT must be aware that the film will change slightly after 20 plus years and some changes might not sit well. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot is expected to hit theaters June 6, 2014.
