It’s been a while since I’ve seen a McDonalds toy that really surprised me, but these new Happy Meal TMNT toys from Poland are actually somewhat impressive. Okay, so a few of them are kind of strange, but one TMNT toy in particular truly blew my mind. These toys are based on the fourth season of the series, and they feature each of the turtles in space suits. One toy is just Raphael on a hoverboard while another is Leonardo morphing into a vehicle, but when we look at Donnie and Mikey, we find two interesting concepts that you might not have expected from a cheaply made product.
In particular, the Donatello toy features Donnie in a zero gravity machine. We’ve seen a few toys like this before, but I don’t think there’s ever been anything similar attached to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles line. Although it’s just made of plastic, you have to admit that seeing such a complicated and interesting toy developed for a Happy Meal is definitely a nice change of pace. The Michelangelo toy seems to spin on its own, which is yet another interesting feature for such a cheap product.
Happy Meal TMNT toys
Sadly, there’s no indication that these Happy Meal toys will be making their way out of Europe any time soon. It’s entirely possible that we will see these TMNT toys in the North American market later this year, but I wouldn’t get your hopes up. If you live outside of Poland and you want to get your hands on these crafty little action figures, your best bet may be to search eBay or a similar website. I don’t know about you, but all I really want is that zero gravity Donnie toy!
What do you think? Are these Happy Meal TMNT toys awesome, or are they just okay? Would you rather see these kinds of toys at your local McDonalds, or are you happy with what they provide? Share your thoughts with us and with the world in the comments or on Facebook and Twitter!
We’d like to give a special thank you to Toys Land on Youtube and Redditor CrookedNinja for sharing these awesome toys with the world.
