Thanks to the success of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows on home video, another TMNT sequel is beginning to look a lot more likely. With that in mind, perhaps it’s fitting that Brian Tee recently shared his thoughts about the potential for another Ninja Turtles movie during an interview. After playing the role of Shredder for just enough time to experience betrayal, Tee had a few things to say about the villain’s possible role in a third TMNT movie.
“I actually do think that Shredder is way cooler than Krang anyway, and his betrayal was definitely one of those things that we have to be like, ‘Really? Really dude?’
You know, as he betrayed me and he froze me in time, um, people get unfrozen, I feel, so just saying that there will definitely be a revenge of the Shredder, hopefully in a movie really really soon, so we’ll have to wait and see.”
Much like Pete Ploszek, it sounds like Brian Tee is very excited to find out whether or not he will have the opportunity to return for another Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. That being said, something tells me that Shredder’s return in a sequel might not be as impressive as he’s expecting. After all, the role of Shredder in Out of the Shadows mimicked the original animated series in a lot of ways. If the filmmakers decide to continue trying to re-create the TMNT animated series in live action, Shredder could find himself acting as one of Krang’s henchmen!
Unfortunately, Paramount has yet to announce any plans for another TMNT movie. While there is a strong possibility that the studio will move forward with a sequel to Out of the Shadows, we simply don’t know when or if it will be revealed to the public. As of yet, it would appear that these details haven’t even been revealed to the actors involved with the franchise, so it may be a while before we get any definitive information about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3. Until then, it’s at least nice to hear that the actors are ready for more shellraising action!

I loved Brian Tee and would really enjoy actually get to see him in action as Shredder. OOTS Shredder was like a tease.
I enjoyed TMNT2, but was disappointed he did not have a bigger role. I think making Shredder a henchmen to better rep the old cartoon is a bad idea. Shredder does not bow to anyone. I can see him playing along to further his agenda, but not full on crony.
Awesome! Yeah i thought shredder couldve done more but at least he wasnt a face less robot like last time
well and now at least with dvd sales there might be a chance, as there making tons of money on dvd sales
