New Out of the Shadows TV Spots Reveal Plot Details

We’ve already seen quite a few details leaked in previous Out of the Shadows trailers, but these might be even more informative and interesting. Yes, we already know about the Technodrome, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady – but how much do we really know about Casey Jones? Well, thanks to one of these Out of the Shadows TV spots, we’ve just learned an important detail about his background in the film.

The first TV spot starts off with a monologue from Jones telling us about how his life changed thanks to the turtles. It would appear that he’s one of the security guards driving the truck that we’ve already seen in previous trailers.

Based on previous trailers, you’d think that his first meeting with the turtles was in that back alley when he defends April O’Neil from the foot clan. According to these latest Out of the Shadows TV spots, that isn’t necessarily the case – although there’s no way to confirm whether or not he actually saw the turtles at that point.

Needless to say, this is a fairly significant plot detail that has been revealed in a simple 30 second teaser for the film. The more we learn about this sequel, the more excited I get!

Throughout the rest of this Out of the Shadows TV spot, we see a lot more jokes on display than we had seen in previous clips. The jokes keep coming in the second spot, as we hear Michelangelo making quips about preparing for the “ouch” while performing a ridiculously dangerous stunt.

Later in the teaser, Mikey is seen trying to shove three slices of pizza into his mouth all at once – and that couldn’t possibly be more Mikey. For those who were worried that this wouldn’t be very entertaining, I think it’s safe to say that there is nothing to fear. These are the fun loving, butt-kicking Ninja Turtles that you remember from your childhood.
