I don’t know about you, but I’m personally fond of the variant that features Batman eating pizza with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Has there ever been a more awesome comic book cover than that? Well, maybe there has, but this one is pretty cool as well! Unfortunately, due to the limited nature of variant covers, not everyone will be able to get their hands on these special editions of the Batman/TMNT crossover series. However, even if you can’t afford to get a hold of these special TMNT crossover variants, that doesn’t mean you have to leave this article empty handed!
Perhaps by coincidence or maybe by design, Google recently announced their new digital comic book experience for their Google Play Books service. In conjunction with this announcement and their new approach to delivering comic books via digital means, they have provided 40 comic books absolutely free so that you can test out the service for yourself! Guess what one of their free comics just so happens to be? You guessed it: The TMNT/Ghostbusters crossover!
