We’re back once more with another edition of Turtle Bits, where we take the best of the least reported TMNT buzz around the net and give you the good word. This time around, we’ve got a bit of interesting news and an awesome giveaway to tell you about. To begin, let’s start with the news:
The new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is apparently going to be shooting on Wall Street next week. During the middle of last week, a location scout notified the community about their plans to shoot. Where will they be located? None other than the former home of J.P. Morgan & Co. The site has been used for previous movies as well, such as the hit 2012 blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises. There’s no word on exactly what they’ll be shooting here, but if the filming dates are any indication, this may be a pretty important location in the film. After all, it’s rare that even a big budget blockbuster spends 11 days (June 17-28th) shooting on location for just one scene. One has to wonder what significance this building holds for the film, as this is definitely not a place that fans would come to associate with the TMNT they know and love. The location scout didn’t comment on the nature of the scene or scenes they are planning to shoot here, but they did say that nothing would be exploding. Considering this is a film produced by Michael Bay, that’s actually kind of interesting.
Okay, enough jabs at Bay – it’s time to talk about how you can win the TMNT Arcade Game! Oh, we’re not holding this contest, although we do hold a lot of contests on our Facebook Fan Page, so you might want to follow us
