It’s a proud moment for the TMNT franchise as they nailed down a three time Oscar nominee, Laura Linney. Unfortunately this newsbreak doesn’t specify her character for the film. But what does it mean? Linney began her acting career in 1992 and now is transforming to roles geared for younger audiences. Being a well respected actress, it tells us her role will be rather large.
As an actress, she’s a real charm. Linney has played roles with incredibly big actors such as Sean Penn, Jim Carey, Richard Gear, Seymour Hoffman, and much more. These days, fantasy/comic book projects dominate the multiplex. She is following the footsteps of other greats like Robert Redford (Captain America: The Winter Soldier), Chris Cooper (Amazing Spider-Man 2), and Morgan Freeman (Batman series).
We are guessing she will be a big characters mom, a politician involved in the city, or a scientist. Sure, we could be way wrong so we’re asking you, who do you think Laura Linney will play in Ninja Turtles 2?

Maybe she plays April’s Mom.
Imagine April’s mom coming to visit her, And April can’t tell her about the Turtles, Or maybe she tells her about them, When she stumbles onto them accidentally?

In either role as the parent to Casey or April, Linney will do about what the parents in the Transformer movies did, which was to be as annoying as possible. I hope it’s better than to be an annoyance.
I also want to find the deleted scenes that involved Raph in trench coat and April carrying around his Sai.
